Alexandra Michele Events is a full-service Event Planner based in Des Moines, Iowa. As a certified professional wedding consultant, we pride ourselves on our highly customized and unique events. Whether planning your next wedding or social event, we are here to make sure that each and every event we are involved with is truly unforgettable.
Our Story
Growing up I was taught that dreams come true when you believe. With hard work, passion, and support anything is possible. Being able to make other people’s dreams come true is something that I have always strived for. After planning my own birthday parties and friends parties throughout high school, I realized that I can create those special unforgettable moments with my events.
By bringing people together and creating something unique that will hopefully inspire them in their own lives. I decided my sophomore year of high school that I wanted to be a wedding planner. Since then that dream has evolved and grown into what is now Alexandra Michele Events.
Meet the Team
Alexandra Michele Bown (Feo)
Alexandra has aspired to owning a wedding planning business since she was 15 years old. While the exact vision has changed over the years, her goal to make other people’s dreams a reality is still the most important element. In order to pursue this dream she studied abroad during the spring of 2016 in London. There she interned with a bridal boutique and studied at The London College of Fashion. With four event/wedding planning positions behind her, she has learned to think on her feet and to always keep an open mind.
Alexandra graduated December 2017 from Drake University in Des Moines with a B.S.B.A. She completed a double major in entrepreneurial management and marketing with a concentration in sales management. She is a certified professional bridal consultant with ABC (The Association of Bridal Consultants). Alexandra believes that it is incredibly important that a wedding planner have experience in every aspect of a wedding. She has worked as a event manager at well known Midwest venues such as: The Drake Hotel in Chicago, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI and Geneva National Resort in Lake Geneva, WI. With over 100+ weddings and 5 years of wedding and bridal experience, AND as a 2022 bride herself, Alexandra is ready to help your wedding day dreams come true!!
